Dr. Chas Carlisle
(903) 650-2498
Chas began serving as the Interim Associational Missionary Strategist (AMS) in 2021. After leading the EBA through a period of transition and restructure, they asked him to continue serving as the co-vocational AMS.
He began vocationally serving the church in 2002 as the music minister of a church in the assocation. Then, after serving as a church planter in Ohio for six years, the Carlisles returned to Texas in 2012 where Chas began serving as pastor of Oak Ridge Baptist Church. He continues to serve as pastor of this church while serving in the AMS position.
Chas and his wife, Amy, have four children. He holds a B.M. from East Texas Baptist University, an M.A. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, an M.Div. from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, and a D.Min. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Chas is currently a Ph.D. student at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Along with serving the church and association, Chas serves as a faculty member of Worldview Academy, teaching at a local homeschool cooperative, and directing a local Seminary Extension program. He desires the EBA to be a buttress for local churches, guiding them in church health and missional engagement. He can be contacted at office@enonbaptistassociation.org.
